Sheri White

Sheri White retired with a master's degree in Special Education and an Administrative Certificate in Educational Leadership, has worked as a classroom teacher, supported employment specialist, staff development trainer, and program director at an alternative high school and residential program. Sheri has educated thousands of administrators, teachers, school psychologists and social workers on many special education topics. Yes, it was her passion. Since retirement, she has found fun working in the gig economy as a shopper for a major grocery/delivery service.

Sheri learned to look at the ordinary in life and make it into an extraordinary experience every day since her son was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor at age two in 1996. She and her husband have raised three children and live in northern Illinois.

This is her first book, one she never planned on writing! Sheri's next book will take a different direction as she writes about the life of her son, Matt, and his journey as a survivor of a cancerous brain tumor.
